IT Business Process Analyst

Resource Industries IT currently has an opening for a Business Process Analyst III, located in the Wuxi area, supporting Advanced Components Manufacturing (ACM). In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, integrate and support IT infrastructure solutions to solve business problems, working as an IT Factory Integration team member. You will also work closely with global Infrastructure Services and Information Security teams. Job Duties / Responsibilities include: · Working directly on technical problem identification and resolution, including weekend support functions · Working independently or as part of a team on complex infrastructure technology components that may be used by one or more applications or systems · Working independently or as part of a team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components · Gathering local business requirements for IT projects; connecting with US and Asia Pacific teams to determine technical requirements and coordinate project management · Participating in integrated testing and acceptance of infrastructure components · Working with vendors on the integration of purchased systems and/or infrastructure solutions · Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support
Required Qualifications: · Candidate must have a Computer Science or Manufacturing degree, or 5 years IT factory-facing experience · Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English · 2 - 4 years demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment · Experience with manufacturing applications (such as PINpoint or Freedom eLOG) · Experience with the design, implementation, or support of control systems · Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory · Working knowledge of Cisco network hardware and software · Must be able to configure and troubleshoot issues regarding desktops, workstations, and laptops; Must understand Microsoft Office Suite and be able to Install/Configure applications · General Networking skills, such as TCPIP settings on a PC, Cat5 Wiring, some knowledge of how VPN and Routers work; able to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when needed · Ability to work independently and manage one’s time as well as being a collaborative team member · Able to respond to demanding target dates · Ability to reset passwords, create accounts and manage groups · Availability to work off-shift when needed for systems changes or be on a call rotation to provide support should any systems be down on an evening or weekends · Job requires extensive active movement throughout plant including but not limited to climbing stairs and steps, lifting of devices and pushing and pulling of equipment
Top Candidates will also have: · Understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL based support processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem management) · Strong communication skills, be an innovative thinker, have strong problem-solving skills, work well in a team environment, and possess strong customer relationship and customer support skills · Individuals should demonstrate innovative qualities to explore new technologies, which improve the efficiency of the factory environment · Strong script writing skills such as javascript and DOS Batch files, PowerShell, VB scripting
